Product Description The TY4G Tensioning Tool is made to efficiently tighten nylon ties to fiberglass duct take off connections. The TY4G features a manual, easy to operate, cutting mechanism and comfortable gray vinyl cushioned grips. When the tie is tight, a simple pull of the lower handle causes a blade to engage and cut off the excess tail of the nylon tie. A reduced pinch point handle closing ensures peace of mind and reduces injury. Made with a clean, black baked on enamel wrinkle finish, this tool is made to weather the elements and stand up to abuse on-the-job. The TY4G and all other Malco Tie Tools are designed to work on standard 175 Ib. ties as well as thinner 125 Ib. ties.
