The CONSTIX SF-11 swab features a sealed, 100 PPI closed-cell polyurethane foam head attached to a 6-inch cotton-tipped applicator with a wooden handle. The soft foam effectively traps and removes particles, while the absorbent foam ensures proper solvent absorption, such as isopropanol and ethanol, for applications involving their application and removal. No adhesive is used, and the wooden handle is solvent-resistant. The swab produces minimal particles and fibers, making it suitable for solution and adhesive application. While compatible with many common solvents, the SF-11 swab is not recommended for use with ketones like acetone or MEK.
